Just thought I'd lob this one into the debate....

For all of those who disputed the N64's use of carts vs optical discs - I'm sure glad they chose the carts now......

...it makes for much smaller ROM dumps (of legally owned ROMS etc!), which is now helping the EMU scene!

It's actually EASIER to rip a CD than it is to dump a ROM, size be damned.

Sorry guys - I'm relatively new to the Emu scene (just a few months), so didn't realise this was all covered way back in 1999.

My bad & I'll try not to post any more ancient history and then somehow remove it (although I see the original thread is still below!?).
