What Sega Saturn emulator is the best? The kind of emulator I'm looking for is the kind where I use my game disc and just play it on my PC, can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

SSF. If your processor supports SSE2 instructions (Pentium 4 or later or AMD64 basically).

SSF uses directinput so joypads should work.

well, it's not that it doesn't work at all, it's that the emulator doesn't seem to reconize the 360's trigger buttons and its d-pad.

You mean it doesnt recognize them at the joypad setup, I assume.

The X360 pad doesnt use Directinput, it uses XInput (I believe) instead. I wouldn't be surprised if it would not work at all. I wouldn't hold my hands for support from the emulators side either (its a japanese emulator - the xbox isnt exactly popular there). So unless some compatibility layer is released by Microsoft that converts XInput calls to Directinput, the x360 pad will most likely never work with SSF.

I'm not using Microsoft's default drivers for my 360 pad because with the xinput drivers the rumble feature doesn't work with epsxe but with the XBCD X360 pad drivers it all works fine. That's including the analouge triggers in SSF.
