Project64 crashes and error.

Well, it seems odd to me. I installed project64 1.6, installed Rice's video plugin and played for about 4 hours to paper mario. Next day, I try to open project 64 and i can't. Well, reinstall and hey, it works! y change plugin to Rice's Video and p64 crashes. No matter how many times i uninstall and install it, always crashes. Well, i've tried the same Rice's plugin on 1964 and it works, so I don't really understand what could be happening.

I can't really find out nothing about this on search, so help it's well recieved.

-p64 1.6
-Rice's video plugin 6.1.1 beta 10 (also tried beta 8, and same error happens)
-Windows XP sp1, ATI radeon 9550 SE.

I've tried, yep, but i don't know why one day it works, the other don't. I can play the game on 1964, but i'd like to keep using project 64.

update windows and drivers i can't stress it enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for gfx drivers go to www.ati.com

Is there an error message that comes on before the crash?

well, I uninstalled all, reinstaled ati drivers and hey, it works. I don't know what really happened. Maybe something to do with reg. Who knows?
