problems with controller plugins for project64 nintendo emu

i have a ? how to get my project 64 emu to execpt my wingman action pad controller for it to work what do i do to config the plugins don't seem they want to dpad to work iam lost and if theres any other way to config it that would be awsome thank you !

You need to describe your problems better. Instead of "they don't seem to want the D-pad to work", say *in what way* it doesn't work. There's one way for it to work, many ways for it to be broken.

My guesses:
Be aware of analog/digital options - controllers sometimes have a button to swap the analogue stick and the D-pad.
Also, calibrate your controller in the windows control panel.
