problem with macross m3

hi, macross m3 in the compatibility thread should work but for me freezes after the new game selection, is this normal? I tried both 0.2 and 0.25 with same results, thanks for answers!

ok when you start new game , it should go to the date screen . it will automatically count up like 4 years then the screen turns black...right? just wait a unreasonable amount of time and max and mirya should start talking, explaining mission. it is just the begining that hangs a bit.

it should work, it works for me. i always shut it off, before it loaded the new game. i saw the black screen and thought it quit.
