problem with house of the dead and savegames

hi, I've house of the dead 2 jap, I've played it and configure it but in the vms browser doesn't appears the save, I don't finish it yet but when I start the game it has the last option that I configurated, so I think some kind of save must be in the vms.bin but with the vms browser doesn't appear.
I also tried to import a downloaded save and I found two types, a vms file and a dci file, the vms file give me an error when I try to import it but the dci file is imported good and appears in the browser, then I click "write vms" to save the data, all ok.
but in the game there's no effect of this new save (must have level completed and other bonus too), the name of the save is HOD2DC_U.SYS, it's possible that is an US savegame but my game is jap? thanks!!

This is because you have the jap version and you downloaded a different version of the saves. Try to downloaded a Jap version of the saves. Try www.gamefaqs.com

thanks, so I need the save of the same version of the game, the save that I downloaded are from gamefaqs and there isn't a jap version
