Before I start, I feel I should address my computer specs, and they are as follows:
768mb Ram
1.4ghz Amd Duron
128mb Ati Raedon 9250
Any game Ive tried to play runs fine, and cpu usage generally stays below 40%. Whats been making me want to strangle someone is the fact that I'm getting 1/2 sec lags between frames, once every 20 seconds or so. When starting up a game, Its very predictable too - Happens in the same spots. The part that gets me the most, is that it happened in the same spot when using the glidefx plugin compared to the ones PJ64 comes bundled with. Ive tried setting my graphic setting lower, and also disabling sound, But nothing seems to get rid of this annoyance. Can anyone help? Could this possibly be the affect of bad roms? (I hope not, takes forever to download the damn things with dial-up)
