this may be off the subject of 1964 but does anyone know a good button config that I could use on Halo to fit a N64 controller?

This is interesting. Keep us posted on how this turns out. Not sure what kind of mapping is possible. Yellow buttons for strafing and looking and the analogue for moving. If it works out, sign me up. I want to try this out too.

WHY did you spam 3 forums with the same thing and even said that you knew it was off topic?!
(this thread, which has nothing to do with PC gaming)

You could have simply done it once in Talk of the Town or something.
hey, i didn't know that... just wanted to get interested viewers attention in which forums more people attended to

The point is, it is considered impolite to cross-post, especially in the wrong forums. Anyway, a PS2 controller button config wouldn't be too hard. Just use the analog sticks for look/move, X for jump, square for reload, circle for smack, triangle for weaponswitch, R2 for fire, L2 for grenade, L1 for nadeswitch, and R1 for flashlight. Oh yeah, and Analog stick buttons for crouch and scope.
