Hi, I've only just got Project 64, I've got a few questions.

New version/update- I've got pj64 v1.5- where can i download v1.6 from, and does this fix issues with games because on the game list screen, around 70% of the games have problems.

Controller compatibility- I've tried using an Xbox controller (with an adaptor) and the Xbox 360 controller for windows but they both don't seem to work. I'm getting a Logitech Dual Action rumblepad soon, is this compatible?

Sound- The sound seems to be very poor in the games I've played, any updates around that can fix this?

Video problems- On the game list it indicates I have video issues with most of the games, is this due to an outdated driver? I am using a NVidia 6700XL 128MB Graphics card, its very new, I'm running a 3ghz pentium d processor with 1gb ram so whats the problem there?

I look forward to hearing people's responses!

1. http://www.pj64.net/main/

You also need the updates to maximise compatibility.

2. If the controller is installed correctly, shows up un Game Controllers etc. it should work.

3. Enable Sync audio to gameplay in the audio plugin config.

4. These are issues in the default plugins and nothing to do with your video card or drivers. Some issues can be resolved by using 3rd party plugins.

You can get the latest Project 64 version from here: http://www.pj64.net/main/

Both the XBOX and XBOX 360 controllers are compatible with Project 64 but you must have the latest drivers for the controller (download them from Microsoft's website).
You might also want to use a third party input plugin. You can find some here: http://www.emutalk.net/input-plugins/

Regarding sound, make sure to enable the "sync game to audio" option of the audio plugin after running each game.

About your GFX issues... it may be a problem of the drivers so it would be better to update them. If you still have problems you may want to use other video plugins. Get some from here: http://www.emutalk.net/graphic-plugins-archive/

If you encounter any more problems you can check the help files that come with the emulator and the plugins. :)

Edit: Seems like Clements got me to it. :p
