PC controller for PJ64?

Hi, Is it possible to play with a PC controller on PJ64 instead of the keyboard?
If you set it up right etc...
Has anyone done this before?

EDIT: Ive just seen a adapter which enables you to use a xbox controller with the PC would this be compatable?

Any controller that can be detected and configured by the Windows Operating System is supported by PJ64.
