I am playing OoT and this it won't let me play, instead an error message pops up:

8000017C: Exception in emulation thread

what does this mean?

Some info about your computer specs, as well as your graphics card is a good start. There is a space reserved for computer specs in the signature line for a reason.

Post your computer specifications and the video card you are using, otherwise it's rather difficult to start pinpointing the problem. Also make sure that you are using a good rom.

i found it out, it was a bad rom, i got another and it works
