Old majoras mask problem, new question.

Okay, in relation to the "not able to put on goron mask" problem.
I don't have much money to spend but, I really want to beat this game. So could somone throw out a couple of ideas for V-cards that would actually work and hopefully not break my wallet into tiny pieces?
I would really appreciate it.

GeForce 6200 would be easily enough ~ $60, and uses the latest tech. If that's too much, the FX 5200 is ~ $30.

That would stop the Goron Mask errors.
