No response from d-pad or analog stick.

I'm using a Logitech Rumblepad 2 USB controller, but no matter what I do in the controller settings, neither the analog stick or the d-pad give me any response when playing ROMs.

While configuring the controller, they register fine.
Don't know if this makes a difference, but I have Windows Vista Home Premium with an AMD Turion 64 X2 Processor, so I know I have the system requirements nailed.

An help or suggestions?

install logitech gaming software 5.02, and kill the wingman profiler (lwemon.exe)
