New RDB Ruins MarioParty3?

I downloaded the newest RDB in the Download section of the pj64 website and all of the sudden Mario Party 3 had a strange graphical glitch: When you get to the game map, the whole map space layout is layed over the screen, so it never moves and you can't see any of the peices as you walk on them. The old RDB works fine for it, can anyone ellaborate?
Using:
Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6
Jabo's DirectSound 1.6
N-Rage's DirectInput
Thankies.

i think you're mistaken. none of the Mario Party3 ROMs have had settings changed at all between 1.6 release and 1.6.015 RDB.
Probably you've changed a video plugin setting... D3D transform pipeline?

I haven't changed any settings, and reinstalling the original 1.6 RDB fixed the problem (had to redownload the whole install, erg, dern dialup). I tried with alot of different graphics card settings, but all to no avail.

There is no connection between the RDB and the way games run

not true, but it is very hard for most people to know what kinds of things can be affected by the RDB. see the RDB changelog.

i just said this particular game has not had settings changed, so something else must be cause of his problems.
