Need some help/advice

ok just got the emulator its awsome and stuff curently playin Soul Calibur and thats where the problem is from i cant save and u know how saving is important in every game i have read the FAQ and found the saving question but dont understand this :
You have to create a memory card from the plugins configuration of the emulator
when i go 2 the plugins-. configuration i see only
CD rom plugin
Input Plugin
and ports A B C D on then i can only set CONTROLER or NONE so how do i create that save thingy please reply with a step by step explanation (it would be awsome if it would contain screenshots) you can pm write back here or email me on [email protected] thanx guys

start up chankast WITH OUT a game loaded

navigate to the memcard screen select the memcard

and then delete everything on it

this will format the memcard and it will then be usable

then close chankast and reopen it

then load up your game and away you go
