What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Need help with extracting textures!

How the HELL do I extract textures? The only way I know is to use the debugger plug-in and just pressing "dump" at random places in the game, and even that way has major flaws, considering that I have NO idea where the texture files seem to go, I've checked most of my N64-folders, but I can't seem to find them, pleeeeeeeeease, help!

I'm aware of this, and I'm aware of the search function, but I just can't understand one bit of the explanations that every1 else has got so far.

well, don't use debugger, use the regular...
find a place with textures you want, make a save state...
stop the ROM, and then select the ROM you were just in...
when it starts, pause it, select "dump textures", none should dump yet...
select the save state, and then just press start (play), it'll start from the save state dumping the textures that are loaded.

6.1.1 & 6.0.0, DDRPIP, do you have MSN or something? Considering that you seem to know a lot about this topic, I understand if you don't want to help, but if you do, it would be way easier at msn.
