It means you don't have a good graphics card, or you haven't installed the correct drivers.

No. Graphics cards aren't that expensive these days, you could probably get a Geforce FX 5200 for about $50 online.

I got my FX 5200 card for £38 (ABout $50, as mentioned above). Which is freakishly cheap.

Took about a minute to install it.

GeForceFX 5200s are also freakishly horrible. GeForce4 Tis can beat them in some situations.

Mine works perfectly well, so I don't know what you're talking about.

No speed / graphical problems with any games yet. That includes Doom 3 etc.

You might just have a bad computer.
