How do I get a second player controller to work? Whenever I try to make it work. It doesn't.

Did you make sure you checked the "Controller Plugged in" box?

I'm using a microsoft sidewinder it doesn't have enough buttons for every single N64 controller button

Then just assign the frequently used buttons to the pad, and rarely used buttons to the keyboard (like the L button and D-Pad).

You shouldn't use that controller if it doesn't fit...
