Multiplayer Capabilities?

Hi, I just have a quick yes-or-no question. Is Project64 multiplayer compatible, assuming you have two or more controllers plugged in to your computer? Thanks!

Actually, one more unrelated question. Exactly what does "RDB" mean. I know that the acronym translates to "ROM database," but I don't entirely grasp what that means. It seems like problems that people have with many ROMs can simply be solved by updating your RDB, but I don't enitrely know how to do that.

Interesting that my unrelated question should be longer than the question concerning this topic.

yes you can play multiplayer, although i don't recommend doing 2 player with 1 keyboard because only a few keys can be pressed at once. but if you have a gamepad and a keyboard then sure you can play multiplayer as long as the input plugin ur using supports it.

The RDB contains game-specific settings. Since PJ64 1.6, there has been an effort to improve these settings to make games run better/support new games. You download the zip and extract and replace the old files.

Where exactly do I place the .rdb file after downloading it? Just in the RDB folder for Project 64?

put it in the folder where project64.exe is, overwriting the old file(s)
