Well i tried opening Paper Mario but it won't open. It's a z64 file. Does this mean it won't work?

How are you trying to open said file? from the Rom Browser or via File --> Open Rom? Does an error message show up? You aren't giving much info to go on here.

z64 files are supported by Project64.

I have tried opening it from the "Open Rom" option and the "Rom Dictionary" option. Neither work. And i also try to open it from my "Downloads" thing. It fails as well. Sometimes it says quote " File loaded does not appear to be a valid N64 ROM. Verify your ROM with Good N64." Well idk what God N64 is. Actually i think i tried to download it on multiple sites and all of them were corrupted O_O
