My brother has it, it works quite well actually, the movies look funky but I think that was intended and may be that way for the PS2 version also. As an added bonus, Substance owners get to play an extra "prequel" game not included in the PS2 version, and this time, you get to play as Solid Snake.

You're talking about Snake Tales right? Those are a completely unrelated and new story that happens to take place on Big Shell. It has nothing to do with the "reality" of the MGS universe, just another story written by Kojima. ^^

Yep, really old game......
For Pliskin, Snake and MGS fans it's very recommended.....
Have a full compatibility with game pads and modern videocards, but i recomend you to play with a PSX adapter, that makes better the game control...
And try to complete all Virtual Missions again............. to make snake and raiden abilities better... to finish in hard mode.... :0
