Mario Party cheat code question

In Mario Party the cheats list the location of where each character is i.e. top left character, top right character. And within those cheats options for controling coin options( coin options =>?). Can anyone explain what that code means and how does it work during the game? I check all the options but the code doesn't seem to work. What am i doing wrong?

Coin options will let you have how many coins a certain player will have (ex. top-left player) and all you have to do is double-click on the cheat code to go to a submenu box, then check off the number of coins for a certain player such as 0, 10, 100, or 255.

Could someone tell me if there is a cheatcode to unlock minigames in this serie ? (1,2,3).
Its just for playing quick 5 min games with a friend, so we dont feel like doing the whole adventure game or so, to unlock those.
