Mario Kart 64: No Music in Multiplayer.

Hey everyone.
I did a quick search, but couldn't find anyone else on the forum with this issue. So, here it is:

Mario Kart 64 doesn't play any course music when in the 3- and 4-player modes. Sound effects work in all modes, and everything works normally under the 1- and 2-player modes. I re-downloaded the ROM and got the same result. Why is music absent from the higher player modes? Is there a way to correct it?

My Sound Plugin is "Jabo's DirectSound 1.6" and I'm using "Project 64 v1.6"

Not a bug. The game was designed this way.

Ah, thanks. For some reason, I assumed Nintendo wouldn't do something like that, but I didn't have the energy to hook my N64 back up again. Thanks for clearing that up for me!
