Jet Force Gemini black screen probleme

Hi !
I was playing "Jet force Gemini" for a while when I arrived to a boss. Then the screen got black, I could only see my viewfinder and hear the music, and the controls were working. I tried to reset but when I load my game it starts again. Moreover the level before this boss is quite annoying ...
Could you please tell me if there is a way to solve this problem ?

Are you using the default plugins, and are you using the latest RDB?

in the game FAQ they're speaking of my probleme but they're advising to use a D3D8 vidéo pluggin which should solve the probleme but that's chat i'm using. Shall I update it ?

Might be that your graphics card and/or the drivers aren't up to scratch to use Jabo's D3D8 when the effect is being used at that boss.
