jpop is an acquired taste
when i first heard it, i hated it... with passion
but now some songs i developed a great liking to
i especially like ayumi hamasaki and i think her music is awesome
some series have really good songs, like hikaru no go

at the same time, there are really bad j-pop songs
like the rap ones and whatever naruto has

its just like any music, there are good ones and bad ones
except for american music, it just all sux in the 21st century, no melody whatsoever and no talent
