Is there a 100% Sound Solution for Resident Evil 2

hi,
for resident evil, i use glide64 0.8 wonder with zeckensack's Glide wrapper.With the Video and the grafik there is no problem .

for sound i use azimer´s 0.56 WIP2. for me this sound plugin is the only one without stuttering in game sound. only the character speech dont work or better from time to time.

is there a solution for sound with speech without stuttering in music, this time?

I think there is not a solution yet, but as you can see in some "old" glide64 videos, sound may work one day...

So, you use mupen with LLE audio through PJ64's RSP. Does the output audio plugin matter at all?

I think, yes. I use Azimer's HLE 0.56 WIP, included into Mupen distributive. You may try other plugins, but this one works for sure.

Ok, thanks for this useful info... I have watched this video several times (I like it ), but I still can't reproduce it...

(This is the day I talked about, sound works!)

I have tested some sound plugins and yes, it seems that every plugin works fine: (Azimer's "pack", Jabo's, Zilmar's and also "Basic Plugin").

About graphics, there are some problems with Zeckensack Glide wrapper (some flickering, e.g. at the starting), and with other wrappers, problems are worse. These problems are not in Project64...

Project64: 50% - Graphics solution
Mupen 64: 50% - Sound solution

I MAY be wrong in my tests... I have only a cheap Nvidia card.

Yeah, I could buy a Vodoo card, I could play the PS version, and so on. I prefer watching the video again...

You can choose your favourite sound plugin > Mupen + (any sound plugin) + Glide64 graphics plugin + Glide Wrapper (if you don't have a Vodoo card).

As I said above, I have graphic problems buy maybe you will not have them...
