Is Pj64 fast enough?

it is very dependant on the cpu, more so when filtering settings are used.

without filtering, it can run well on a duron 1000

with, it requires more like 1.5ghz+ to run smoothly

to use antialiasing at decent levels, you need a TI 4600 and higher.

Hi, so are my specs good enough? I just don't understand. I thought I have all filtering settings off, but I still have some difficulty running games. What are all the relevant filtering settings that I can turn off to speed up the emulation on my system? Or kindly redirect me to a post that already discusses this, it would be very much appreciated.

Speed has never been an issue for me with PJ64 almost all games run at full speed. The only issues i have is some graphic issues in mario tennis and yoshis story.

Here, 1964 is faster with some games (PD, GE, BT)
but have a lot more problems...
Though PJ is already fantastic, maybe some tweaks to make it faster could be done

To me I say increase the quality. :D

Most people nowadays have 2.0+GHz processors and 512MB+ of RAM and a DirectX9 compatible video card/chip, etc.

I say "who the hell cares for making a DirectX7 plugin JUST for those couple of people without DX9?" If anything DX10 is coming out soon and you should be focusing towards that. ;)
