Im. trying to import save games from Game faqs..not working

When I try to import a save game file from my pc, a state I downloaded from Game faq.com, I get the message "vmi files need a vms/vmi pair " or something like that. What does that mean? I already formatted the memory cards...

For me only the .vms and .dci files work with importing/exporting, not any .vmi files. Try some of the .dci files at Gamefaqs, those should work.
