Im a newbie And i need help!!!

the problem im having is simply this:
When I try to run a game I get this: error: failed to allocate memory. Does anyone know what this means? This wasnt the first problem i had, i had to redirect the plugin directorys to the main folder because they didnt come preset the way they should. But any ways what does failed to allocate memory mean, and what do i do to fix it?

Many seems to have been experiencing this problem. Do a search on the board to see if a solution fits you.

open up task manager, close as much processes as u can. if u have enough free memory it ill work. it helps a lot if u have 512mb ram.

u wont belive the amount of people that had/have this problem... including myself... its 1 hell of a pain in the arse when i had this prob i just had 2 use pj641.5b 4 ages and eventualy i treid the final version again and it worked btw i can guess ur using xp...
