Ikaruga problem

I'm new to this forum and I wanted to know if there is a way to solve the following problem: I have the game Ikaruga and in level two there's a type of bullet that is invisible and I get killed due to that problem. Is there a way to fix it or it's an emulator problem?

yeah, thats 2 bad... love that game but i cant complete level 2 without losing at least 1 credit. :/
The strangest thing is that when you die you can see the bullets for a second or so... maybe some independent programmers/ikaruga fans could solve this problem? ^^
