I can't seeee!

In Paper Mario, I can't see any characters in the dark.
I can't see when I get hit, I really need to be able to see! Help.

AFAIK, this is a known issue. I don't think that there is much you can do about it.

I don't know anything about this specific problem, but have you tried switching to wireframe? Sometimes that helps with things like this.

Is that in the dark section of the game where you're supposed to light it up with your pal?
If so, then set frambuffer to copy buffers and then disable it, and you should see.
