I can't save Donkey Kong 64...

I have a ported version of Mupen64 for the mac. I'm still not clear about how the game saves work, because they are files that can't be opened in the mac.

Anyways, I've managed to save games in almost all games. But the game I wish to save is Donkey Kong 64. When I click save, the save file doesn't appear in the save folder. Can anyone tell me why or how I can solve this?

Alright, since no one can solve my problem, can anybody just provide me with a Donkey Kong 64 Save file? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that Donkey Kong 64 doesn't work in Mupen64.

You can always use F5/F7 to save/load the exact emulator state, instead of just using a regular in-game save.

Ok, I tried pressing F7/F5 and it said the save slot was empty. I'm guessing that saving Donkey Kong 64 doesn't work in Mupen. Thanks for the help anyways.
