I can't find the codes file; which one is it?

I can't find the p64 file for the codes, which file is it? I have a file called "Project64.chs" but when i open it, it says it doesn't know wat to open it with, is that the file you pull up, and what do you open it with? Please help, and if it helps the version is 1.6, and if you need more info, then just ask

Project64.cht, open it in a text editor like Notepad or Wordpad. If you want to edit /add cheats, you don't have to open that file, just edit the cheats directly in Project64.

Thanks For Replying, But Do You Enter Them Through The Cheats On The System Tab, Because I Looked All Over
(I'm Starting To Think Mine's Broken) And Theres Nothing In Any Tab. I'm Sorry Im Asking All These Questions, I Just Am A Beginer With Computer stuff.

Actually They Are Gameshark (North America) and Action Replay codes (Europe)

DJSanders12: to learn how to use the cheats system look at the Project64.chm.

You can do this by just double clicking the file to open and read it, or click on Help/User Manual When Project64 is open.

Once it is open look at the Cheats Help Section for all you need to know.
