How do i use New Plugins In Dolphin

Hi just wondering after finding on the home page of dolphin a sdl.dll plugin i downloaded it and put it in my plugins folder.Now it says cant find it when i go to configuration settings

SDL (Simple Direct-Media Layer) is a 2D API. This isn't used by Dolphin (correct me if I'm wrong), Dolphin uses DirectX and I don't believe SDL is compatable with DirectX. (Enless it is used with the PAD plugin). Nonetheless, it's the same SDL, and it won't make a difference by adding it.

I'm happy see a new plugin for dolphin but, I'm having troubles I notice that plugin doesn't work on D-Pad I have Logitech Precision hopeful in next release it well improve.
Everytime I load up game its crashs because new plugin I place everything were it needs to be. Any info?
