OK, how did you reformat the drive's (e.g., DOS disk, in WinXP, or from the WinXP CD)?

The old way (the way I whould reinstall Win9X) is with a DOS boot disk for that OS (e.g., Windows 95 boot disk), at the DOS prompt I whould type the commands:

A:\format C: /s --- Formates the C: drive and makes it bootable
A:\format D: --- Only formats the drive

But that's for DOS based OS's, not Windows XP:cry:

I haven't realley reinstalled Windows XP, so I can't help you much:cry:
But did you delete the partition's on both drives, it may help:saint:

Afaik, as long as you have a bootable windows xp cd, you may just format the harddisks using the old fasion format command and install it. You can also install an older os (like win98) and upgrade to xp.
