yeah, i was playing majora's mask for like 3 hours today, i got bored so i stopped the emulation, i go off to play starfox and all of the text was messed up, BUT majora's mask was fine!
after starfox i checked ocarina of time, again it messed up, i got a thing that said "project64.EXE error" and it made me shut it down, the only way that i can get it to work again is to reinstall the whole thing! can any one help me out?

Ok, now the plugins you are using in Project64.

btw, a good reminder that PJ64 will eventually crash is when games start having weird graphical glitches or other problems.

Do you have the latest drivers for your intergrated Intel graphics chip?

Well, Project64 defaults to Direct3D8 plugin. Try the Direct3D6 plugin if it fixes things. You could try Rice's video plugin as well.

of course its terrible.. its a damn intel onboard chip which sucks cpu time from the RSP core
well the directx6 majiger was makeing it terrible, not the graphics card
and after installing the rice video plugin it works perfectly thanks for the help :D

The Great Gunblade Wielder
thats coz its turned off TNL

that video chip uses Software TNL which means the cpu was handling all the direct6 instructions

Pixel shaders are accelerated by the graphic chip but vertex shaders are handled by cpu
