Well, Guillemot (Hercules) is the best but they are extremely expensive, I'm quite happy with my PNY, but that option isnt up there :blink:

Asus rulez. The drivers are very bad, but if you download other drivers, the card is almost perfect!

Bingo. Hardware wise, all nvidia based cards of their respective generation are essentialy the same, though sometimes asus clocks theirs higher. The only other difference is driver/software feature sets, but when it comes right down to it, most people always end up using the reference drivers, and don't even touch these extra features anyways. You are 9 times out of 10 best off buying the cheapest one available.

oh, and iirc, guilemot bought hurcules out.

and matrox cards are way overpriced, and they always somehow manage to miss compatibility standards.

Actually thats not quite right, Guilemot is Hercules' parent company. They also own Thrustmaster (my favorite gamepad).
