Goldeneye cameras

It's no big deal, but on Goldeneye the cameras and drone guns don't get destroyed. I shoot them, and there's an explosion and they stop working, but they still appear brand new. I remember on my N64 they became blackened wrecks. It doesn't seem to be a graphical problem but I tried changing graphics plugin anyway, and it didn't work. It annoys me because I sometimes forget which cameras and drone guns I've destroyed already.

I'm using project64 1.6, btw. I guess no replies means no-one knows how to fix it.
