GeForce FX 5600XT and Rice's Plugin

Hey everyone

I was just wondering if this card is compatible with Rice's plugin because I am looking to buy the GeForce FX 5600XT 256mb in the next 24 hours or so.

Is there any problems with this card with the plugin or will it work flawlessly is what I want to know?

It will work good with most of the popular games with Rice's plugin. I have a faster version of the same card. Seeing as you have a Riva TNT2 right now (which is only good for the simpler N64 games), you will be very happy with the upgrade. You'll probably need to use the Pixel Shader combiner, Software T&L and Software Vertex clipper with most games or you'll get glitches.

Good choice. I have a FX5600 nonultra and i very happy. Is very stable and with new 56 driver series i don't have more the problems of initial Forceware drivers (52, 53, 55)......

Yes it will work pretty good. Just make sure you use pixel shader in direct x mode.
