Firefox tweak to speed up HTTP browsing

This comes from one of my clanmates. He did not note where he found this information just yet. Seems to work very well thus far.

open a browser and type

about:config


change

network.http.pipelining to 'true'
network.http.proxy.pipelining to 'true'
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to '30'


sit back and hang on.


note: don't bother unless you have a broadband connect.

You can get an extension that does this for you, been using it for a while. Does seem to work.
