I have been using eMule for a while now, and have been wondering,
How exactly does the credit system work?
and How much uploaded data is enough to give you great speeds?

I've always been a shareaza fan I get really nice speeds sometimes like 1-2mb/s. Yet again, its only good sometimes when downloading big files and such.

/me hates emule.

Nothing beats torrents, especially if you have access to a private tracker site.

Whether I'm ftp'ing or running a torrent, my total bandwidth gets used. I'm on a 1.5 Mbit ADSL connection, and my torrent will top off at near 200 K/sec if I leave it unlimited, I also get the same speed using an ftp client. So while I can't beat an ftp in speed, I can certainly tie with it.
