Donkey Kong (again)

OK, I've read loads of posts about problems with this ROM, but I still can't get it to work. I've downloaded a good ROM but it refuses to go past the intro. Is there something basic that I'm doing wrong?

i think the problem is either one of two things, you changed the settings to make it refuse to work or you are using an older version.

and the version of pj64 you are using and the settings

maybe its his specs or graphic crad or somethin

You should check the GameFAQ. Anyway, I would like to tell everyone that I've just finished the game. If you are going to play it till the end you will encounter many more problems than the intro, prepare yourself! It's a great challenge to get through the SP DMA READ errors and the like.
