I want to download and use direct connect

is it an alright program to use or does it have hidden spyware etc (ala kazza)

Afaik it doesn't have/use spyware but you might want to look at DC++ or oDC, both vastly superior...

Hmm...I never had the patience to figure out how to get DC to work. Another thing is the nodes always require you to have an insane amount of warez (sometimes 120+ gigs) just to even take a look at what they have.
