Direct 3D 7 Plug-in... will there come version 1.5

Hi,

as you can see of my topic, I would like to know if there will be a 1.5-version of the Direct3D 7 Plug-in. For me, it is the problem that I am using many PAL-games (I am from Germany) and I have to change the height in the RDB file manually. This is nerving... an other thing is that the D3D6-Plugin cannot show the light effects in Legend of Zelda when opening a box (see an other topic). And an other thing is that I really like T&L; I am using a ELSA 3D Revelator for my GeForce 2 Pro (these are 3D glasses for D3D and OpenGL games) and the shadows look kinda dull (they are two-dimensional w/o T&L) when watching it on the other plug-in.

Please Jabo, don't discontinue the D3D7-Plug-in although T&L is not stable; T&L might not be stable (I didn't recognize any instability) but it's looking good.

Thanks...

Well, actually noone knows if Jabo is going to release a dx7 plugin or continue at all...about the (E) roms having wrong dimentions, its not due to the gfx plugin but because of the rdb. When smiff gets back he'll fix these stuff :)

im not so sure we're gonna see any updates:

"Less good news for you: at this time some of us will be taking a break and there are no plans for another release (really, this takes care of just about everything the original team wanted). "

Taken from the pj64 website. :( however, again no word on jabo's status, so i guess if we dont bother him, maybe he might surprise us again :D if not, who cares, not much else to fix anyway.

I highly doubt Jabo will ever release a DX7 variant of this gfx plugin. There just isn't any point really, there should be little or no difference at all between the DX7 and DX6 plug. And to that T&L remark, it's useless, it doesn't increase or decrease performance, so, that option doesn't even matter, in the end, it'll just create more problems than its worth.
