Different savefile types.

Savefile types?

It seems like there's various types of savefiles in project 64, which are called eep, sra and fla, as well as mpk. I was wondering what the difference is between them?

It was a spambot.

Anyway, N64 games used a variety of save formats, many directly to the cartridge. For the end-user the differences are inconsequential. If you're curious though, the extensions stand for eeprom, sram, mempak, and flashram.

So for example, super mario 64 is eep, which that means it saves directly to the cartridge, is that right?

If i remember correctly, you had to have a controller pack to be able to save in some of the games, so perhaps that explains some of it?
