Diddy Kong racing problems

Diddy Kong used to work... but now I get either the error message: Bad PI DMA address, PI DMA skipped... or I get this:

(there are other screens that also pop up inside the emulation).
What did I do that could cause this?

Your ini settings may have been changed. The easiest way to fix it is to download 1964 again and replace the original 1964.ini file.

Never mind... I found the problem... I had Frame buffer emulation set to clear. I must have changed it to try and fix graphical problems and didn't realize that this prevented the game from starting up.
However not have this option on prevents Mario Tennis from getting past the camelot logo.

That's why at the top of the advance tab it is written, "Enabling these may cause or fix errors.":sly:
