I just found Project 64, but I'm having issues setting up a controller. It's a PS2 controller for what it's worth. No matter what I try, Project 64 does not register it. I tried it with other emulators and it works fine, and my computer ensures me it's working properly. I tried all input plugins. I tried setting the deadzone to the max. I browsed other threads here with similar issues, but nothing has worked. And it's all buttons, not just the analog stick.

Maybe your Project64 version is bad or too old,or ... . Which version of Project64 you play?

I figured it out eventually. There were two options for my controller, I had to select the second one.
THEN, I had to turn the deadzone up to get it to recognize "left" and "up". Then I had to turn it back up to get it to recognize "right" and "down". How very odd.
