Controller plugin help

I have a logitech "rumblepad vibration feedback gamepad" a pretty old controller and i cannot seem to get it working with PJ64, i tried different controller plugins, but the only one that seems to work is jabos 1.6 (because it actually shows me which controller im using , BUT i cannot seem to assign any keys controller and when i play mario 64 the message "no controller" keeps on poping up and the contoller does not work with any games.

any help or tips ? Thanks GB

make sure in the controller plugin the controller pluged in is checked

yup, but when i do, all i get is the no "no controller" message but the controller itself still doesnt work.

I am having the same problem and I'm using a 'Recoil' Model of the PS2 controller with a N64 Harvest Moon game. I can't afford an adapter so I got a controller second-hand from a friend, and still can't get it to work. can anyone help?

Does Windows detect all the controller's buttons/axes/etc. properly?
