conkers bad fur day freezing?

after playing Conkers once, when it worked fine, now every time I start it, i just get a black screen, the fps is changing though

any suggestions?

Have you changed any settings since the first time you played it?

1 - check if it's a good rom: use goodn64 found in my sig.
2 - uninstall pj registery. Goto \uninstall in the pj folder and run the reg files there.
