lol :linux: not joking. People are so mad about getting this to work on linux that they are working for a way to run some of its plugins in cedega. It actually loads ok,only that its cd plugin wont work.

Come on guys, release the code already. Two or more years passed,no new version has been coming out.There is still no way to play dc games on linux. There is a way to run linux on dc:

When you release the code,chankast will gain popularity and you will get more devs on your side.As i see it now,all you get is annoying members that chi-chat,spam and start flamewars...and the development seems to me kinda dead. There is already another great dc emu with lots of dc games working on it,and i have the feeling they are gonna port it for linux too...but chankast is still in the linux comunity boards all over the place.People are desperately trying to get it going.:flowers:
i'm not begging you to do it,i am telling you its a good move for chankast and it will get it into a more healthy state. As i read the posts on this board,the kind of attitude i sense, i kind of expect someone to bring a box of matches and the mod to lock and ignore this thread.Well after the mod does, chankast will remain the same.
Come on,do it right now.You've been waiting for this way too long and it hasnt worked for your advantage.If you release the code,someone else will come the next day and port it to linux,to mac,to all those os' that never played dc.Dont you want to be the first there?
